Together with Josef Polášek and Heinrich Blum, he co-authored the building of First Moravian Savings Bank. In 1939, he became the head of the spatial planning department at the Regional Office, where he worked until the end of the 1950s, focusing primarily on urbanism and the restoration of monuments (especially the renovation of the Mikulov Castle).
