Wooden construction LIVE!

In the very heart of this year's Timber Structures Fair, we will construct a real wooden building, to scale 1:1. The NOVATOP construction system will form the main load-bearing all-timber structure of the “Futura Freestyle by Domesi” house. The foundation of the material solution for this modern wooden building is the exposed load-bearing structure - NOVATOP is unique in that it allows direct use of the visual quality of spruce wood as the final solution for the interior. Inside such a house, the wood smells wonderful and gives it an unmistakable charm… NOVATOP is a new building technology made from solid wooden panels, which are assembled like a construction kit. The large-format panels are “made to measure,” meaning they are manufactured in precise formats, with processed joints, openings for windows and doors, and additional individual modifications such as preparation for distributions or the addition of thermal, sound, or fire insulation. These prefabricated components are shipped to the construction site, where they are very quickly and easily erected using a crane, forming a massive, safe, and truly all-timber structure. This comprehensive system corresponds to today's trends in the construction of energy-efficient and passive buildings, it is guaranteed to be airtight and creates diffusely open structures without foil vapor barriers. It also reliably addresses noise transfer. All components are manufactured in the Czech Republic mainly from Czech wood, developed and tested in Switzerland, and the input materials are certified “Natureplus,” one of the highest international quality marks. NOVATOP is a member of the Passive House Centre association.
