HALLA, a. s.

Czech Republic justly becomes a power in design lighting. One of the leading manufacturers is also the company HALLA, which focuses on the production and export of technical design lights, and in connection with new trends in architecture and interior design, they are starting to play an increasingly important role. With its collection of lights, HALLA is increasingly appealing not only to architects of commercial buildings but also to households. It collaborates with talented designers from both the domestic and international scene on its lighting products. The result of this collaboration includes, among others, the following collections:

INDI
The basis of the INDI lights consists of a special aluminum profile, which can be used as a standalone light, connected into any length of lines, or shaped into various forms (square, circle). Designer Matúš Opálka equipped INDI with the latest LED technology with high efficiency, which illuminates the wall itself while also utilizing it as a reflective surface for light. This direct-indirect method of lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere in the space. Due to their variability and clean design, the lights from the INDI family allow for countless combinations, making them suitable for use in commercial spaces, hotels, and also in households. The INDI concept was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2014 in the Design Concept category.

The INDI+ lights were enhanced with a second function. After milling a groove into the profile, a hanging system was created, into which various components such as hooks can be inserted. Thus, the light can be used as a shelf, coat rack, or holder, while still fulfilling its lighting function. Visitors could see all the lights with their own eyes at the autumn Designblok in the exhibit Superstudia HRA, which was also designed by Matúš Opálka.

SANT
The aluminum linear lights SANT are an ideal solution for advocates of minimalist design. They were designed for HALLA by Dutch designer Rob van Beek. The embedded LED sources achieve operational efficiency of up to 150lm/W. The lights are dimmable, with direct-indirect radiation and the ability to mix white color temperatures as needed (2700K – 6500K). Thanks to their timeless appearance, high brightness, and quality materials, they can be used practically in all rooms. The lights can be used independently or as a continuous lighting system. For its precise workmanship, SANT has received several awards – it was shortlisted for the prestigious Lighting Design Awards 2015 in the indoor lights category and can boast the title of German Design Award Nominee 2015, awarded by the German Design Council.

ARBO
The wooden lights ARBO expand the possibilities of functional lighting into other types of interiors. Even when using wood, the lights maintain high efficiency (up to 120lm/W) thanks to LED light sources. The shape variety along with different rotation options gives the lights imagination and playfulness. The use of natural materials can cozy up and warm up any interior. The ARBO series therefore looks great in cafes, restaurants, and offices, as well as in residential projects. The design is by Luka Križek.
