The boundaries between different parts of our homes have begun to blur gradually; rooms interpenetrate and merge. The bathroom opens up and transforms from a purely functional space designated for personal hygiene into a refuge from the hectic world around us. This brings with it increasing demands for the quality and aesthetic aspect of bathroom fittings.

An ever-growing desire among customers is the possibility to tailor the bathroom to their personal taste while simultaneously considering the design concept of their entire home or apartment. Colors have a significant influence on the atmosphere of a room. Therefore, GROHE has decided to introduce the GROHE Colors collection, which offers maximum freedom of choice – ten breathtaking colors and finishes across all bathroom products, from faucets and shower systems to flush buttons and other accessories.

Timeless beauty without compromise

When deciding on color options, GROHE's designers took inspiration from global trends. During visits to various trade fairs and exhibitions, they noticed that home furnishings increasingly gravitate towards dark, warm colors. Based on this developmental trend, they created a color concept that fits perfectly into all modern, thoughtfully designed interiors. Once a user invests in a certain color tone for their bathroom, changing it is not as simple as repainting a wall. Therefore, the GROHE Colors collection is designed to provide customers with a means to realize even the boldest visions of bathroom design while ensuring that the individual color combinations are timeless and their quality is maintained for many decades.

A production process rooted in the aviation industry

The GROHE Colors collection is characterized by the combination of aesthetics and perfect functionality. Among this collection – alongside the traditional chrome version – are nine other colors and surface finishes named SuperSteel, Cool Sunrise, Warm Sunset, Nickel, and Hard Graphite, all available in brushed and polished versions. Unmatched quality levels are ensured through an innovative production process known as PVD or Physical Vapor Deposition. The roots of this manufacturing procedure extend into the aviation industry, and the results set completely new quality standards for surface finishes. This process allows for a wider range of colors and achieves a surface that is three times harder and ten times more scratch-resistant than galvanized surfaces.

Be bold, be creative

Thanks to the ten color options and surface finishes, it is now possible to integrate some of the most popular design lines of GROHE faucets, showers, accessories, and flush buttons into any coordinated bathroom concept – from the elegant GROHE Atrio or GROHE Lineare faucets to the minimalist GROHE Essence, Allure Brilliant, or Eurocube collections, and up to the latest GROHE Plus faucet, which captivates with its bold, geometric design inspired by the letter D. The harmonious interplay of colors is then complemented by the popular recessed lever faucets, the wall-mounted version of the GROHE SmartControl system, the innovative Rainshower SmartActive hand shower, and the Rainshower SmartActive overhead shower with multiple flow modes.

Through the premium concept of the AtrioCollection range, GROHE allows architects, designers, and end customers to create their own custom faucet. You can choose not only the color, finish, and type of handle but also a unique element in the form of an inner handle insert that can be black or white – in glass or marble. In the future, customers will also be able to select the material from which the faucet is made, adapting it to their furniture or walls. There are no limits to creativity, and with GROHE products, you can take the uniqueness of your bathroom a step further.
