The Wood Festival will showcase five unique houses, or DOMESI WOOD WEEKEND

The center of all activity will be the Domesi Concept House (Futura Freestyle) in Pulečné in the Liberec region. The modern concept of architecture of this house complements the interior, which is predominantly made of exposed NOVATOP panels. The history of Futura Freestyle began at the exhibition Dřevostavby 2011, where its skeleton was constructed. It was subsequently built as the Domesi Concept House and has been allowing the general public to experience living in a modern timber construction, or a “test drive,” for a year.

During the Domesi Wood Weekend, visitors will be able to view this house from 10 AM to 5 PM, not only from the outside but also from the inside. After 5 PM, they will have a unique opportunity to chat informally with both architects, Václav Zahradníček and Pavel Horák, purchase books on wooden architecture, and buy interior accessories from Domesi Design.

Futura Neo is preparing for its premiere
The Domesi studio is also preparing a surprise. They will unveil the concept of a new type of house with the working title Futura Neo, which will have its premiere in the spring of next year.

A visit not only to Hell
Interested parties will also be able to visit a family house in Peklo in Josefův Důl as part of the Domesi Wood Weekend. From the outside, they will be able to see another three houses that Domesi has built in this region, one in Roprachtice near Semily and another in the Česká Lípa region in the villages of Prysk and Cvikov. (The house in the village of Prysk is also built from NOVATOP panels.)
