New software tool for designing floors FERMACELL

For investors, designers, architects, processors, and installers or manufacturers of wooden buildings, FERMACELL has prepared a completely new and unique tool for designing FERMACELL floors. On the website www.podlahy-navrhovani.cz, it is possible to easily and quickly calculate the design of a suitable structure with FERMACELL floor elements, including material consumption calculations, after logging in and defining the composition of the floor, insulation, floor elements, and floor covering.


The advantage of the new software tool, designed for both laymen and professionals, is the simple and quick design of floors, the certainty of selecting a suitable structure without any risk, and the completeness of the solution. The visitor to the website must initially define the composition of the floor – that is, the area of use according to load (here, it is possible to choose from residential areas to administrative spaces, concert halls, theaters, and more), the choice of substrate (the most common types of constructions are available – e.g., solid ceiling, wooden beam ceiling...) and the choice of substrate character (this section defines the flatness of the substrate). In the section dedicated to insulation and floor elements, the software will offer options for additional height adjustment parameters, fire resistance levels, acoustics, and the selection of insulation material. The third chapter is devoted to floor coverings, where the visitor will determine the type of moisture protection, underfloor heating, and floor covering.

Throughout the entire process, the entire composition of the floor structure appears in a cross-section on the right side of the screen. After pressing the "CALCULATE" button, material consumption is calculated based on the area of the floor.
