At the construction site of the “Residential Complex Milíčovský Háj” in Prague, an accredited laboratory verified the building airborne sound insulation value of Liapor M 240 PLUS blocks. The measured values for the separation walls of living rooms (inter-apartment walls) corresponded to R´_w = 56 and 57 dB. Subsequently, a computational prediction of sound insulation was performed at the state testing laboratory TZÚS in Teplice, established at a value of R_w = 58 dB, which at a thickness of 240 mm is the market leader in AKU masonry blocks.

LIAPOR M 240 RW - Excellent acoustic parameters

Another new product was introduced by Lias Vintířov on May 15, 2012. It is the load-bearing block Liapor M 240 RW with a declared R_w = 57 dB and a thermal transmittance coefficient U = 1.25 W.m^-2.K^-1 with a double-sided lime-cement plaster of 15 mm. Liapor M 240 RW represents an ideal combination of acoustic and thermal insulating parameters.

LIAPOR M 200 - Load-bearing block for exterior and interior masonry

The range of Liapor masonry has been expanded at the beginning of this year to include the block Liapor M 200, which Lias Vintířov manufactures in strengths of 6 and 12 MPa. The purpose is to offer a “cheap” variant for exterior walls with sufficient accumulation and the lowest possible operating costs. The block in the 6 MPa strength class is intended for exterior walls with additional thermal insulation. Conversely, in the 12 MPa strength class, the block is designed for internal load-bearing walls, where at a thickness of 200 mm it excels with very good acoustic properties (R_w = 54 dB).
The Liapor M 200 block is produced in dimensions of 425 x 200 x 240 mm for traditional masonry on mortar beds of 8-12 mm and for thin-bed mortar (adhesive) masonry in dimensions of 425 x 200 x 248, representing 9.4 pieces/m². Another major advantage is its fire resistance, with a strength of 6 MPa rated EI 180 DP1 and with a strength of 12 MPa rated EI 240 DP1.
