Schüco presents a new generation of aluminum sliding systems, the Schüco AS PD 75.HI (Panorama Design), which combines minimalism with maximum functionality, utilizing the best of both worlds. The new technology of lift-and-slide construction has for the first time allowed the combination of a hidden frame with a recessed threshold (Performance Line), meaning that the transparency of Panorama Design and barrier-free transition no longer exclude each other. The mechatronically controlled recessed threshold extends from the outer frame integrated in the floor when opening the Schüco AS PD 75.HI sliding system, providing a comfortable transition without the risk of tripping.

Other advantages include a dynamic covering profile in the lateral outer frame that conceals the TipTronic hardware when open, so it blends in with the wall. In the interior, Schüco AluWood Design can also be used, with profiles covered with wooden decor strips. It guarantees resistance to burglary RC 3 (resistance class) and non-sensor protection against finger trapping up to safety class SK 3. Direct sunlight can be blocked using the external shading Schüco AB ZDS (aluminum blinds, Zip Design Screen).

In addition to the Performance Line, which combines almost all available options, the Schüco AS PD 75.HI system series is also available in the Design Line and Access Line ranges. While the barrier-free threshold of the Access Line ensures that the floor is level on both sides, Design Line primarily has a visual impact. Thanks to the hidden profiles in the wall, floor, and ceiling, this product range enables frameless glazing of large areas, providing unobstructed views and maximum transparency.

Optional Accessories in Different Lines

The Schüco AS PD 75.HI sliding system features a narrow sightline of just 35 millimeters and a building depth of 75 millimeters. In terms of thermal insulation, the system boasts excellent Uw values of up to 0.82 W/(m²K) (Performance Line). With the Schüco TipTronic hardware, a mechatronic drive can be selected, mandatory for the Performance Line. The Access Line and Design Line series achieve resistance to burglary up to resistance class 2 (RC 2), while the Performance Line reaches up to RC 3. Additional options include the integration of the Schüco AB ZDS shading system (Aluminium Blind, Zip Design Screen), monitoring of closing, and integration into the smart home platform via the Building Skin Control system to manage and control all Schüco mechatronic units. In addition to the standard available opening variants, sliding elements can be freely configured and tailored to the requirements for individual facade design.

Benefits During Processing

  • Fewer tool changes on CNC machines due to standardization of sizes.
  • Elimination of complicated milling – replaced by alternatives (e.g., inserts on the sash for hardware attachment).
  • Square-Cut connection allows frame assembly directly on site – eliminating bulky transportation of finished frames.
  • Upper and lateral frame adjustments are made using adjustment screws that do not require separate adjusting brackets.
  • Quick revision: Brush seals are installed in a clip profile that can be easily removed from the frame.
  • Installation of sliding rollers without tools thanks to clips instead of retaining washers.
  • The handle strip and the corner joints can be easily disassembled thanks to screw connections with metric screws.
