The milled panel Fasrock L, designed for insulating ceilings from below, was presented to the jury by Ing. Zdeněk Kobza, a product specialist from ROCKWOOL. In his presentation, he emphasized its fundamental advantages and distinctions, primarily its easy handling due to the fact that the panel is 35% lighter than standard insulation boards. It can be left without surface treatment, and the beveled edges become very practical, especially on uneven substrates, and it is precisely due to them that the panel allows for "plasticity" of the surface and an overall enhancement of the aesthetic appearance of the space.
The use of this insulation board can reduce the energy consumption of a building by 8-10% depending on the specific object, there will be a significant increase in fire safety for occupants and the resilience of the structure, as well as an overall increase in work productivity, because the labor-intensive anchoring and finishing are eliminated. The emphasis on the main benefits significantly contributed to the final result in the competition and to winning the top prize.
