Cement screeds have been a trend for some time now, and they show no signs of fading away. There are several reasons why they are so popular among architects and interior designers.

With design screeds that we use, we have years of experience and know exactly what advantages they offer and where they are best applied. Below we list at least some of them:

Universal applicability on floors and walls
Cement screeds can be applied in almost any space – from bathrooms or kitchens in private apartments to office spaces and large industrial operations. We do not limit ourselves to just floors, as we commonly apply screeds to walls and stairs as well.

Application on furniture
Our cement screeds contain a polymer additive, making them slightly elastic and suitable for application on any smooth, solid surface. They can even be applied to kitchen worktops, bar counters, bathtubs, sinks, and other similar areas.

Thin thickness
Although the screed is applied in several layers, the total thickness is around 3-4 mm. This makes it suitable even where the final thickness of the floor is crucial, and it is recommended for installation with underfloor heating.

Interior and exterior
Cement screeds are suitable for both interiors and exteriors, as they are resistant to outdoor weather conditions and UV radiation. They can also be utilized as a suitable surface for wellness areas, saunas, terraces, or around pools.

Seamless solution
BOCA screeds are the ideal solution for those looking for a way to achieve a seamless interior, both horizontally and vertically (including connections between the floor and wall) – just existing dilatations in the substrate need to be maintained.

Easy maintenance
Due to the absence of joints (which are necessary with tiles or other flooring materials), the surface of the screed floor is very easy to keep hygienically clean; no special care is required, just regular sweeping and mopping.

Quick renovation of old floors
Most original floors can have BOCA screeds applied after surface preparation without the need for removal – for example, it is easy to transform an old tiled floor into a new one with a cement screed.
