Four products from Zumtobel awarded the iF product design award 2013

The jury of the iF Product Design Awards 2013 awarded the DISCUS Evolution LED spotlight system, the PAN recessed LED luminaire, the ELEVO façade LED luminaire, and the ONLITE PURESIGN 150 emergency and safety LED luminaire.

The product design team at Zumtobel develops products independently and in close collaboration with internationally renowned designers, characterized by maximum utility and restraint in their form language. These four latest accolades further confirm Zumtobel's commitment to this endeavor.

Four products from Zumtobel awarded the iF Product Design Award 2013:

The archaic sun disc with an LED intermediate rim forms the basic body of the DISCUS Evolution spotlight system. Its flat appearance, combined with effective spotlight technology and a 30 W LED light source, as well as its emission characteristics and color reproduction of Ra 90, position DISCUS Evolution among the most modern spotlight systems for retail. The newly developed LED board design allows for luminous fluxes of up to 2,000 lm with efficacy over 65 lm/W

ELEVO Façade LED Luminaire
Invisible to pedestrians, positioned on window sills. The 3.5 cm wide, flat ELEVO façade luminaire impressively illuminates projections and surfaces. Available in switchable or dimmable versions through PWM, the luminaire can be easily integrated into various system environments. As a powerful LED luminaire, with warm white or cold white color temperatures, ELEVO is ideal for both direct and indirect façade lighting.

PAN Recessed LED Luminaire
PAN is the smallest spot for façade lighting on the market, with a diameter of 52 mm. The luminaire can be flexibly used for downlight or uplight positions. Color temperatures from 3,200 K to 6,000 K ensure the right light for various materials and surfaces. As a recessed or surface-mounted installation via an accessory housing, the luminaire protected with IP65/67 rating showcases its strengths in both listed and modern buildings.

ONLITE PURESIGN 150 Emergency and Safety LED Luminaire
PURESIGN exhibits a lasting product design in absolute perfection through reduced material usage and powder coating.
Inside the emergency luminaire, the latest LED technology is hidden, featuring a new printed circuit board that ensures homogeneous illumination of the pictogram. The built-in and surface-mounted versions offer 2 adjustable ERI spots for illuminating escape routes up to 13 m long. Puresign thus becomes an emergency and safety luminaire in one.
