Two fixtures from Zumtobel, MICROTOOLS and IYON, received the German Design Awards 2013 in the category "goods and materials"

With the award of the German Design Award 2013, Zumtobel products once again demonstrate their quality, innovation, and design.

MICROTOOLS LED
The MICROTOOLS LED lighting system features a minimalist design and high-quality light concentrated into directional mini-reflectors. Thanks to its cutting-edge design and excellent lighting quality, the MICROTOOLS LED track with lighting heads is currently the smallest on the market. The system meets the latest requirements and sets new standards for product lighting in boutiques.

IYON LED
The extensive IYON spotlight product range with state-of-the-art LED light source technology boasts a sophisticated design by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects. The flowing lines give the IYON spotlight an elegant appearance while ensuring perfect functionality. The unique lens technology of the spotlight provides brilliant light accents for various beam angles.

German Design Award
The German Design Award is an international prize awarded by the Design Council. This year, a jury consisting of 30 design experts from various fields had to evaluate around 1500 entries. The ceremonial announcement of the results will take place in Frankfurt am Main on February 15, 2013.
