The world-renowned Italian manufacturer Bisazza has prepared a revolutionary novelty for the year 2014. For the first time in its history, this traditional glass mosaic manufacturer presents not one, but two completely unexpected ceramic tile collections, brought to the Czech market by Archtiles.
The first of these was created with the help of the famous studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors. The second collection is the work of long-time Bisazza collaborator, Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. The result is unique tiles and coverings with the aptly named Frozen Garden. This unique series, enhanced by a spatial 3D effect, elevates ceramic coverings to the level of a refined yet unified work of art. The hexagonal shape with a glossy, three-dimensional surface in elegant black and white offers two variants. The first variant of the tile has a smooth and plastic star shape, while the second is complemented by a flower motif. By combining these two patterns, which allow for a wide range of color nuances, remarkable, emotional, and sensorially infused spaces are created. The unconventional surface design of the Frozen Garden series excites, provokes, and simultaneously, in its originally surprising manner, appears bold and uplifting. Marcel Wanders, who was named Designer of the Year by Elle Decoration magazine in 2005, has gained international recognition for his personal artistic expression and achievements in home design and accessories. In addition to the legendary Bisazza brand, he collaborates with many significant manufacturers such as Alessi, KLM, Swarovski, Puma, etc. You do not need to travel to international trade fairs to see the results of his work, which focuses on tactile and sensory experiences full of fantasy and sensuality. You can also view his tiles from the Frozen Garden series at the Archtiles showroom in Prague or Brno.
