Betonepox® and the award-winning cottage in Doksy

We would like to return once again to the cottage in Doksy, the best building of 2015, which unanimously received the National Award for Architecture, in which our company NĚMEC LUXURY SURFACES participated.

“The wooden cottage with a single-slope roof hovers a meter above the ground on the edge of the lake. Gently nestled among the tall surrounding trees, the cottage not only frames stunning views across the lake but also provides essential shelter in a remarkably simple yet luxurious way. Access to the interior of the cottage is through a huge sliding window at the front of the building.“ This is how the exceptional building designed by architects Pavel Nasadil and Jan Horký (FAM Architekti, cooperation Ondřej Freudl) was described by the jury itself.

In the realization, our surfaces Betonepox® and Imitation of Concrete® were used, mainly due to their durability, aesthetic beauty, and the simplicity with which they supported this extraordinary building that reflects the simplicity of the surrounding landscape and beautifully blends into it.
