We present to you successful realizations of the new City Campus in Ostrava and the Velehrad vineyards near Uherské Hradiště. Get inspired for your project.
It is a joy to see elements made from quality materials appearing in public and private spaces – those that last long, bring joy and benefit to their users, and fulfill an aesthetic function in the space. Just like those from PRESBETON, whose concrete pavements, garden walls, as well as flower pots, benches, trash bins, and other urban furniture can be found all over the Czech Republic.
City Campus for Sports and Arts
The City Campus of the University of Ostrava was opened in February of this year. The building serves as a home for future athletes and artists, which is reflected in the overall appearance of the structure. Top-notch facilities, music studios, sports venues, and laboratories are intended to serve existing students and attract new ones. What's more, the building is also open to the general public. PRESBETON contributed to the entire project by supplying its concrete products. Specifically, it is about the large-format pavement MONUME XL. The pavement in a modern style is in perfect harmony with the surrounding architecture and corresponds with the nearby greenery. Thanks to its height, it is also suitable for the movement of trucks and exhibits excellent slip resistance properties.
The MONUME XL pavement is available in five formats (the largest being 1000 × 1000 × 160 mm) and three color variations (black, gray, white). As complementary pavement, the architects chose the block pavement HISTORIK 140 × 140 mm, which together with the large-format pieces creates a desirable contrast.

Concrete Pearl in the Vineyard with a Sloped Terrace
Inspiration for a driveway, terrace, or garden on a slope can be gathered at the newly opened Velehrad vineyards in Jalubí near Uherské Hradiště, where you can visit a wine shop and restaurant. The main social space consists of a terrace dominated by the large-format pavement TAŤÁNA. It stands out with the texture of the concrete and the used aggregates.
The uneven terrain of the adjoining vineyards is balanced by cascading terraces planted with greenery, which serve as seating areas. They are made of STANDARD concrete garden walls in a smooth finish and WOODY natural pavement that imitates wooden planks.
For the driveway, the architects chose the block pavement ALTERNO, which combines stones of different sizes. Parking spaces and areas requiring drainage are equipped with vegetation pavement HYDROBAR and HYDROSET. The functional and aesthetic aspects of the winery are complemented by other concrete elements from PRESBETON – a HEX illuminated post, HEX trash bin, Y concrete seat, or PILETA 1 flower pots with a natural smooth surface.
