“An event after which more than one participant wished to have a compress on their head the next morning” - this could describe the open party of Archtiles, which took place on June 27th in Brno. Immediately after the start of the event, the new Archtiles showroom at Purkyňova 45 was filled with both long-time supporters of the Archtiles sales team and new faces who came to see this truly unconventional studio of ceramic tiles and pavings.
Archtiles uses the tagline “Architects Support” in its logo, and from the moment you enter the studio, it becomes clear that it is not an empty marketing slogan, but rather a clear focus of the company on service for architects, designers, and design enthusiasts. The range offered by the studio can without exaggeration be considered the widest selection of products from significant European manufacturers.
As mentioned in the opening speech, the place should become a never-ending fair, reflecting both current trends and long-term bestsellers in the area of sintered pavings, tiles, and mosaics.
Truly relaxed entertainment was complemented by brief presentations from manufacturers (Atlas Concorde, Laminam, Bisazza, Ragno, Apavisa…). Some manufacturers highlighted new series created specifically for architects (design Industry, Frame, Concept, Archconcept…), while others presented technological novelties and new applications for materials - such as gluing Laminam 1x1m on facades up to 22 m high without using anchoring. Thanks to excellent catering and tireless musicians, the open party continued well into the morning.
At first glance, the strategy, staff, and assortment of this company are completely different from classic bathroom studios, of which there are countless in every city. Even so, one can explain the very rich attendance of professionals at the opening of the showroom. The studio is open 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and from the very beginning, it cannot complain about a lack of interest from architects. Appointments can be arranged with the staff even outside of official working hours, and the advice provided is exemplary quick and professional. For the second time, we will quote one of the company’s founders, Petr Kunt: “The more stimuli you give us to satisfy your demands, the better services and assortment we will be able to create for you.”
Already today, the local community of architects and designers in Brno is looking forward to the continuation of this friendly open party, where even more unique novelties will be presented. Until then, everyone is, of course, warmly invited for visits and consultations. So, see you at Archtiles!
