On this evening, we will commemorate the personality of the recently deceased architect and architectural theorist Tomáš Valena, professor at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften in Munich, author of numerous publications and co-author of the legendary exhibition of Josef Plečnik at Prague Castle in 1996.
During the evening, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Prague, Leon Marc, architect Josef Pleskot, professor Jörg Stabenow from Philipps-Universität in Marburg, and rector Jindřich Vybíral from UMPRUM will speak.
In the second part of the evening, excerpts from Tomáš Valena's books Relationships. On the bond to place in architecture (2018) and On the Path to My Father (2019) will be read.
