Michael Obrist (*1972) studied architecture at TU Vienna and at SA in Portsmouth. He is a founding member of the feld72 studio, whose work lies at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and art with an emphasis on the social aspect. Their most famous project is the Million Donkey Hotel in Italy. Within the Urban Strategies platform, he focuses on the use of public spaces. Architect Obrist regularly works as a visiting professor at Austrian universities.
The lecture will be held in English thanks to the support of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
