Reflection on Architecture 2018 - Michael Obrist
The Institute of History and Theory of Architecture and Restoration of Monuments invites you to a lecture as part of the Architecture Reflections series. Monday, December 3, 2018, at 4:00 PM, Room No. 119, FA STU, Námestie Slobody 19, 812 45 Bratislava.
Michael Obrist (*1972) studied architecture at TU Vienna and at SA in Portsmouth. He is a founding member of the feld72 studio, whose work lies at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and art with an emphasis on the social aspect. Their most famous project is the Million Donkey Hotel in Italy. Within the Urban Strategies platform, he focuses on the use of public spaces. Architect Obrist regularly works as a visiting professor at Austrian universities.
The lecture will be held in English thanks to the support of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
