The event takes place at the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava, in the spaces of the ongoing exhibition Aldo Rossi: Drawings and Projects, assembled from works from the Aldo Rossi Foundation and the Alessi Museum in Omegne. Pavol Paňák (1948) is one of the most important figures in contemporary Slovak architecture. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at STU in Bratislava. He collaborates with architect Martin Kusý, with whom he designed the new building of the Slovak National Theatre and the headquarters of the National Bank of Slovakia in Bratislava, one of the landmarks of the capital. Pavol Paňák and Martin Kusý are also responsible for the design of the dam in Gabčíkovo and the reconstruction of the Slovak National Gallery.
