Within the OFFCITY ARCHITECTS lecture series in 2015, we decided to introduce you to several independent platforms and associations that are, for us, inspiring; whose main area of interest is the city, its public space, and architecture; groups of people who are the initiators and activators of events in their cities. We want to conceive this year's series primarily as a dialogue on interesting topics that approach the environment and the reasons for the emergence of such groups.

4AM FORUM FOR ARCHITECTURE AND MEDIA is an open platform for experimental approaches and diverse activities related to architecture, urbanism, urban space, contemporary art, and new media arts.
From January 2011 to December 2012, 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media operated the Architecture Gallery in Brno. It now runs the cultural space PRAHA/Forum for Architecture and Media, where 4AM continues its previous activities. A part of the space is a public library with professional publications and periodicals on architecture and contemporary art. As a lecture and exhibition space, PRAHA in Brno is the venue for expert lectures by architects and theorists, artistic interventions, workshops, happenings, discussions, and audiovisual projections.
What other activities are associated with the 4AM platform? What support do they have from the city, and is the size of the city an advantage? What is the interest in utilizing the spaces they manage?

Organized by Offcity z. s. in collaboration with Theater 29 as part of the OFFCITY 2015 project. This project is realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the statutory city of Pardubice, and the Czech Architecture Foundation.

Admission: 50 CZK
