On October 20, 2011, at 4:30 PM, an interesting lecture will take place at the House of Arts in Brno, which will attract not only the professional community but definitely also the general public. Experienced architect Adam Rujbr will speak about new trends in architecture and construction.
The construction market is facing a period of turbulence. EU member states have agreed that from 2020, it will be possible to build only buildings whose energy consumption approaches zero. During the lecture, architect Rujbr will present one or two homes with minimal energy consumption that are very pleasant to live in. Is it even possible to combine the architecture of the past with the architecture of the future or just the present? In other words, to give museums, theaters, or cultural centers a new, modern face? Architect Rujbr will also address this topic in his lecture and will showcase several of his projects involving the reconstruction of older cultural buildings. And what are the emerging trends regarding self-sufficiency and independence from energy sources? All this and more will be revealed at the lecture. Don't miss it.
The event is organized by the Center for Computer Graphics in collaboration with Adam Rujbr Architects s.r.o.
Due to the limited capacity of the hall, we recommend registration at brno@ararchitects.cz or by phone at 603 159 403. Admission is free.
