For everyone who is theoretically and practically engaged with the topic of public space.

Cities are our everyday environment. What is the quality of life in the city? What role does public space play in it? How can we transform our cities, neighborhoods, squares, and streets in this context? What is the task of our councilors? What can we do ourselves for pleasant cities?
Let’s look at these questions from different perspectives – from the viewpoint of a sociologist, ecologist, economist (developer), architect, official, and active citizen. Let’s recognize the values that public space represents for us. Let’s move the discussion a step further and search for answers together. Let’s get inspired.

• 10:30 - 11:00 Jan Labohý, Environmental Institute Veronica – ecological perspective
• 11:00 - 11:10 break, light refreshments
• 11:10 - 11:40 Tomáš Ctibor, developer, currently URM of the capital city of Prague – economic perspective
• 11:40 - 12:10 Martin Kloda, architect – architectural/urban perspective
• 12:10 - 13:10 lunch break (not included in the ticket price)
• 13:10 - 14:10 World café – discussion format
• 14:10 - 14:40 Jan Sponar, investment technician UMČ Brno-Nový Lískovec - perspective of the municipality office
• 14:40 - 15:10 Milota Sidorová, RESITE, festival organizer – activist perspective
• 15:10 - 15:20 break, light refreshments
• 15:20 - 16:50 panel discussion
• 16:50 - 17:00 final evaluation, conclusion
