Jiří Kroupa: Brno's 'School of Art History' and the Theory of the History of Architecture

We cordially invite you to a lecture from the series on the issues of modern architecture and heritage preservation. The National Heritage Institute, the Methodological Center for Modern Architecture in Brno, in cooperation with the Friends of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, is organizing a series of lectures in 2015 at the Stiassni Villa dedicated to the issues of modern architecture and heritage preservation. In the second lecture, professor Jiří Kroupa from Masaryk University will speak on the topic Brno's "School of Art History" and the Theory of Architectural History (Václav Richter and Zdeněk Kudělka). The lecture will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in the COPA hall of the Methodological Center for Modern Architecture in Brno (Stiassni Villa). Entrance from Preslova Street, public transport stop Marie Pujmanové. It starts at 5:00 PM, and before the lecture, there is an opportunity to visit the park with the exterior of the Stiassni Villa. Admission is free.
