Exhibition with a lecture on Retail Impact Assessment - evaluating and planning the impact of retail power. In the Czech Republic in the 1990s, this evaluating and planning tool was unknown to anyone; if it was known, it was probably considered a relic of the previous state planning and oversight and was never applied. Each subsequent construction of a multinational retail chain thus had a fatal impact on the form of retail in its surroundings, the consequences of which we are still facing in the built environment today.
