We cordially invite you to industrial rides through Ostrava and other accompanying events organized by the Fiducia antiquarian bookstore and club as part of the biennial Industrial Traces.
Just like two years ago, this year the Fiducia club will organize several events dedicated to industrial heritage as part of the biennial Industrial Traces. For this year's edition, we have prepared two events for the visitors of the biennial: industrial rides through Ostrava in a historic bus for the public and artistic workshops and hidden corners of Ostrava for children and their parents in the Lower Vítkovice Area. The guide for the industrial rides will be architectural historian Martin Strakoš. The ride will lead from Moravská Ostrava to Slezská Ostrava towards the Michal mine and further through Heřmanice and Přívoz to Mariánské Hory and Vítkovice. Departures will be from the Fiducia antiquarian bookstore and club. The rides will take place on Saturday, October 10, at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00. Due to limited capacity, registration is necessary, which can be done in person at the Fiducia antiquarian bookstore starting October 1.
For children and their parents, together with the association For Old Ostrava, we have prepared a children's workshop and Hidden Corners of Ostrava in the Lower Vítkovice Area, taking place on Sunday, October 11, from 10:00 to 12:00. A special workbook will be available for children, which engages in a playful and attractive manner primarily with the industrial past of our city.
