Debate: Steven Holl in Ostrava

Steven Holl, one of the world's leading architects, will present his work to the Czech audience.
His current project includes the Concert Hall in Ostrava, about which he will personally discuss with the Ostrava audience on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
Steven Holl will visit Ostrava to discuss not only the topic of the upcoming concert hall in Ostrava or the current exhibition at the House of Arts, but also his relationship with music and the ambitions he has as an educator.
Steven Holl is an American architect and educator. Since 1976, when he founded his own architectural office, he has realized buildings of various types around the world. He is a professor at Columbia University and a lover of music, on the intersection of which and architecture he often teaches or lectures.
The event is organized by the Municipal Atelier of Spatial Planning and Architecture (MAPPA) in collaboration with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the city of Ostrava. The media partner is the Kruh association.
