The subject “Architectural design studio” is a fundamental building block of our education in the field of Architecture, and therefore we are pleased to announce that one of the five studios will be led by the Dutch architect Winy Maas starting in September 2024 at our school. The theme of this studio will be "City movements: the Mobility master."

Winy Maas successfully continues his previous activities in the academic field in the Czech Republic, which he began in 2022 as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. As part of one of his successful projects titled CZ02 - Vision for the Future of the Czech Republic, students from five universities in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands came together to present their reflections on the country's future. Students in this unique project literally overflowed with hundreds of ideas, whether it was about reforestation, national parks, industrial production, transportation infrastructure, housing, demographics, population density, ecology, sociology, or economics. The results were then illustrated on a giant map of the Czech Republic, which is currently traveling across the country.

Winy Maas is a landscape architect, urban planner, and co-founder of the renowned studio MVRDV based in Rotterdam. He also serves as a professor of urbanism and architecture at TU Delft, where he also founded the research institute - The Why Factory.

ARCHIP is an international educational institution based in Prague. The school started its activities in 2010 and offers its students two professional programs in English: a Bachelor's program in Architecture and a Master's program in Architecture and Urbanism. Currently, there are 100 students from 20 countries around the world studying at the school.
