Selection procedure for academic staff at the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Thákurova 9, Prague 6, announces a selection process for filling 8 academic staff positions starting from the summer semester 2022/2023 or by agreement. The last day for submitting applications is Monday, January 9, 2023.

1) For the Institute of Building Science:
- 1 position of assistant or professional assistant for the studio of MgA. Ondřej Císler, Ph.D. Expected employment rate 0.5.
- 1 position of researcher involved in pedagogical activities in the area of environmental accessibility, social and health buildings. Expected employment rate 0.1 + additional depending on acquired research projects.
- 1 position of researcher in the field of built environment and real estate development, involved in pedagogical activities focused on teaching the subjects DEV I – Basics of Real Estate Development, DEV II – Basics of Project Management, and preparation for the accreditation of the master's educational program Development. Expected employment rate 0.2 with gradual increase before the program accreditation.
- 1 position of researcher in the field of built environment and real estate development, involved in pedagogical activities focusing on teaching in lifelong learning courses Development, including organizing courses and their PR, as well as teaching the subjects DEV I – Basics of Real Estate Development and DEV II – Basics of Project Management. Expected employment rate 0.4.

2) For the Institute of Landscape Architecture:
- 1 position of professor, associate professor or professional assistant responsible for teaching the subject Landscape Architecture I, with a prospect of expanding the current curriculum to include systematic history of landscape architecture, contemporary issues, and future trends. Expected employment rate 0.25.
- 1 position of professional assistant in the landscape architecture studio of Ing. Jitka Trevisan. Expected employment rate 0.5.

3) For the Institute of Spatial Planning:
- 1 position of head of the studio focused on urbanism and territorial/spatial planning, classified as professor, associate professor or professional assistant. Expected employment rate 0.5.

4) For the Institute of Design:
- 1 position of professional assistant for the basic design studio I (ZD I) and basic design studio II (ZD II), also ensuring work with international students, including teaching the subject Design Process Methodology and participating in the institute's grant and project activities. Expected employment rate 0.7.
