Selection procedure for academic staff positions at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture ČVUT in Prague, Thákurova 9, Prague 6, announces a selection process for academic positions according to Act 111/1998 Coll.:
1) Professors, associate professors, or assistant professors for The Institute of Theory and History of Architecture to conduct lectures and seminars at the master's and doctoral levels in the subjects a) Sociology and Psychology b) Theory of Architecture and Aesthetics c) History of Technology with participation in research and publication activities;
2) for The Institute of Urban Planning a) studio director (professor, associate professor, or assistant professor) b) assistant professor for teaching in the subjects Urban Planning III and VI;
3) for The Institute of Landscape Architecture a) studio heads for Landscape Architecture (professors, associate professors, or assistant professors) b) studio heads for ZAN Landscape Architecture (professors, associate professors, or assistant professors) c) professors, associate professors, or assistant professors for teaching the subjects Landscape Architecture I and II (theory, history, contemporary creation) d) professor, associate professor, or assistant professor for teaching the subject Technology I - establishing landscape modifications;
4) for The Institute of Design II assistant professor of the studio;
5) for The Institute of Design III studio head (professor, associate professor, or assistant professor);
6) for The Institute of Industrial Design two assistant professors for the studios of MgA. Jaroš and Mgr.A. Tvarůžek.
Commencement from WS 2015/2016 or by agreement.
Requirements:
Master's degree in the relevant field, Ph.D. qualification is welcome
For positions of professor or associate professor, appointment in the relevant field, or prerequisites for commencing the habilitation process upon employment
Professional experience in the field min. 3 years, for studio heads min. 5 years
Professional qualities
Design and implementation activities, respectively, for positions 1, 2b, and 3c scientific and publication activities
Active knowledge of at least one world language.

Structured professional CV with an overview of professional, teaching, and publication activities, including feedback (citations)
Verified copies of documents regarding higher education and achieved scientific-pedagogical titles
For positions 2 to 6, examples of several key works (A4 format)
For positions of studio heads and lecturers, a written concept of the focus and direction of the studio or teaching and research.

The announcement of the selection process was published in the national edition of MF Dnes on Thursday, April 30, 2015. The last day for submitting applications is Monday, June 1, 2015.
