Brno - The company Vienna Point in Brno will complete a 17-story administrative-technological building this June, which is being constructed in the eponymous complex in the southern part of the city. So far, several hundred million Czech crowns have been invested in the construction of the entire park. In the next phase, they plan to continue until 2014, said the representative of the investor Dalimil Ospalý to ČTK. The new high-rise building stands at 53 meters. It is one of the tallest in the southern part of the city. According to Ospalý, more than half of the space has already been reserved. "We are not building speculatively, but always according to the demands of the time and the market," stated Ospalý. This year, VIENNA POINT also wants to complete another of its technological facilities. It is supposed to serve, for example, for design and innovations in printing equipment. "The user belongs to a large multinational group. It will create several dozen new jobs," Ospalý stated. He did not disclose the name of the company. In the technology park, according to the company's website, there are to be five buildings. Today, a larger part of the business area is already standing. One of the buildings is the reconstructed former Chemont plant in Brno. Most of the other investments are to be completed this year and next year. "We want to invest about ten million euros in the modernization of further facilities by 2014," Ospalý stated. According to the Regional Research Forum, which regularly monitors the state of construction and office space rentals, Vienna Point II, with 8,000 square meters of office space, is one of the largest investments by developers in Brno for this year.
