In Slatina, an administrative complex worth 1.5 billion will be built within 15 years.

Brno - In the Brno district of Slatina, an administrative center with a leasable area of 100,000 square meters is expected to be built within 15 years. The company Areal Slatina plans to construct it for approximately 1.5 billion crowns, owning about 19 hectares of land near the Černovická terasa industrial zone, where it already leases several buildings. This was stated today by the company's investment director, Petr Hladík. Up to 400 companies with several thousand employees could potentially operate in the area.
    The original foundry Roučka from the 1920s began transforming into a multifunctional complex after the revolution. Currently, it has 25,000 square meters of storage, 15,000 square meters of production, and 9,500 square meters of office space. About 80 companies are operating there, including the computer firms Chicony and BGS Levi.
    There are still 3,000 square meters left to fill in the newly renovated building N. "We can't complain about the interest," noted Hladík. The center is located next to Černovická terasa and the international airport in Tuřany, just two kilometers from the D1 highway exit.
    According to the plan, five more buildings are set to be added to the current 12. The speed of further development depends mainly on the market. On 11 hectares of office space, up to 400 companies could be housed. "Our goal is for one company to take the entire building, but we must be realistic,” Hladík stated, noting that the situation in the real estate market in Brno is different from that in Prague.
    In recent years, several office complexes have been established in Brno. The company CTP is completing the Spielberk Office Center on Heršpická Street, a complex of 60,000 square meters. The project, costing just under three billion, is set to be completed next year, and the already finished buildings are almost fully occupied.
