A family house with a diverse building program located in the valley village of Hejtmánkovice near Broumov. The site of a burned and gradually dismantled original cottage. The steeply sloping plot and the small scale of the surrounding rural buildings led to the division of the house into two parts - an inconspicuous hollow and a moss-covered retaining wall - a trunk with service functions and a suspended moderate mass above it - a mushroom of living rooms covering parking space for two cars. Although surprisingly a requested swimming pool in the form of a swimming lane was incorporated, the investor went silent for two years in surprise.

The plot in a strip of new development in Police nad Metují, in the immediate vicinity of the table mountain Ostaš. In its upper part, a house for a local climber, a proud conqueror of eight-thousanders. The warmth of the family hearth and the certainty to which he will return after expeditions. The trimming of the classic house stems from the direction of the view towards the mountain of his climbing beginnings, remotely resembling the wedge of the Czech flag raised on a conquered peak. When the gradual incorporation of subsequent comments began to resemble a storage of Gore-Tex with an extension of the house and strange neighbors began to emerge around, the fate of the project was sealed.

When the same mountain guide auctioned a former gamekeeper's lodge in Adršpach surrounded by a panopticon of sandstone rocks, the further fate of his savings was decided. The ambitious intention to accommodate a large number of fellow climbers led to the idea of reconstructing the building into some kind of presidency of the climbing association and gradually filling the spacious plot with simple half-buried apartments. The wave of enthusiasm subsided from the moment the investor was forced to cut down a pair of mature birches framing the entrance to the house due to alleged lifting of the foundations by their roots. The frost-like charm is irretrievably gone. Oh woe, oh woe, where is your lamb…
