The highest level of the prestigious WELL certification focusing on healthy living is boasted by the Brno residential project Domeq by the developer CTP. As the very first residence in the Czech Republic, it met the strictest criteria for indoor spaces regarding human health and well-being. CTP thus confirms its leadership in the field of sustainable development across all its projects.

Domeq 2 and 3 are the first residential buildings in the Czech Republic to meet the strictest criteria of the highest level of WELL Platinum certification for air, water, nutrition, light, movement, thermal and acoustic comfort, materials, mind, and community quality. This prestigious certification is granted by the International WELL Building Institute pbc™, a globally recognized standard for evaluating the quality of the indoor environment of buildings concerning human health and well-being. To obtain the certification, the developer collaborated with RUBY Project Management.

“It is a significant milestone that the first residential project in the country has obtained WELL Platinum certification. The future of sustainable construction and a healthy living environment also lies in the hands of developers and parties involved in these projects, and we are very pleased that we could be one of those parties. Domeq is a very unique housing concept, and obtaining the WELL certification confirms its uniqueness,” commented Petra Fišer, Sustainability Consultant at RUBY Project Management.

Stylish living in the business park community
The residence is part of the successful multifunctional complex Ponávka in the heart of Brno, a former brownfield site that is now characterized by its green atmosphere of an urban campus. A significant part of the Domeq concept is the emphasis on living in a dynamic social community within the business park, which hosts a diverse mixture of innovative enterprises. It aims to help young people kick-start their careers and expand their personal and professional networks.

The modernly furnished apartments offer premium services consisting of both private and shared spaces. In the lobby, there is a relaxation zone with a drinking fountain and a library, as well as a bike storage area, laundry, a lounge for employees, and a lactation room. Residents can utilize a community garden or social areas equipped with kitchen counters, a piano, a pool table, modern technologies such as PlayStation, various seating types, and a study room. Naturally, these spaces feature free Wi-Fi. An underground parking area is available with options to charge electric bikes, scooters, and cars. The building is equipped with air conditioning and heat recovery for efficient ventilation and heat retention, with exceptionally high-quality supplied air due to enhanced filtration.

In addition to its impact on health, the project delights users with its aesthetic focus. The building itself is an artistic piece in its own right, where architects opted for modern minimalism, a combination of geometric shapes, natural materials in subtle colors, such as exposed concrete, wood, large glass facades, complemented by discreet elements of bold colors emphasizing the uniqueness of the design. The hallways are enlivened with colors distinct to each floor and connected with graphics from the stairwell.

Affordable housing for companies
The developer CTP focuses on building highly sustainable and energy-efficient industrial, logistics, and office parks, which it also owns and manages. Its ambition is to create its sites as complex ecosystems that cover the needs of its clients. This also relates to affordable housing for potential employees of companies within CTP parks. This was one of the reasons why the developer launched the Domeq residential project in Brno. In the coming years, it plans to expand its affordable housing projects to various locations across the Czech Republic and simultaneously extend this initiative to other countries.

Brno is the center of a wide range of business activities for the developer, where modern office complexes provide a base for both Czech and foreign investors. Newly arriving companies, along with existing businesses expanding within the region, bring new job opportunities. However, the situation in the housing market often does not favor young people starting their career or university journey. The Domeq residential project offers stylish and fully furnished apartments at an affordable price right in the city center.

“Attracting investments and foreign capital to the region is key for expanding the job market and economic development of the area as a whole, but it also comes with responsibility to both new and expanding companies in our parks. Therefore, we not only provide business spaces, but we also focus on the needs of people – from a business community full of services and opportunities for professional and personal life to affordable housing,” said Jakub Kodr, Managing Director and Sales Director of CTP.
