Lecture topic: The recently published guide to 20th-century architecture in Moravia and Silesia covers a number of lesser-known or entirely unknown works and their creators. Among the almost unknown architects are Oskar and Elly Oehler, who designed their outstanding functionalist buildings for the Přerovsko, Ostravsko, and Prague. Their creative and personal story reflects the ideals and tragedies of a significant part of the last century.

Pavel Zatloukal, born in 1948 in Olomouc, studied from 1968 to 1973 at the Faculty of Arts of UP in Olomouc, and from 1974 was the curator of the collections of drawing and graphic arts, later also architecture at the Gallery of Fine Arts in Olomouc, and since 1990 has been the director of the Museum of Art in Olomouc. He is the author of publications: Historicism. Architecture of the second half of the 19th century in Moravia and Silesia. Olomouc 1986. - Moravian spas in the transformations of two centuries.
