Passer wants to complete the Prague BB Center within seven years

Prague - Developer Radim Passer wants to complete his BB Centrum in Prague-Michle within seven years. It remains to build a hotel with a congress hall, three office buildings, and 300 apartments. The new fourteen-story hotel could start operations in three years, Passer said in an interview with ČTK. The completion will cost several billion crowns.
    "The nearest stage is the hotel with conference facilities, which should start operating within three years. In addition, we plan three other residential phases, which will create 300 new apartments, a Bible museum, an administrative building Omega connecting to the main transport artery, and another administrative building. We believe that it is manageable within approximately seven years, provided that things in the Czech Republic function at least relatively normally," said Passer.
    Delays in negotiations with state institutions could jeopardize the completion date of the complex. Passer mentioned, as an example, the land by the busy road 5. května, where the Omega office building should be built. The company has been trying to buy the land from the state for the eighteenth year.
    "The problem has been the enormous instability of the legal and political environment. Ministers and directors at ministries and state organizations managing land rights have been changing one after another. A solution that you negotiated and agreed with one person would no longer apply shortly after. However, it now seems that we could bring it to a conclusion," Passer noted. According to him, the state could announce a transparent competition for the land.
    Developer Passer has been building BB Centrum for 20 years. During that time, he has invested 14 billion crowns. In addition to offices and apartments, there is currently a Christian primary and kindergarten school, a community center, and the Balance Club Brumlovka fitness and wellness center on the site. A few days ago, the developer opened the completed Delta administrative building and today made accessible a playground, which is the first part of a developing two-and-a-half-hectare Brumlovka park. It is to include a space for dog walking and a lake with a model of Solomon's Temple.
    Seven stages remain to be completed, including three residential, two administrative, and a hotel with conference facilities and a separate administrative building. The entire complex is to cover an area of 375,000 square meters, with investment costs reaching 21 billion crowns.
    The company Passerinvest Group was founded in 1991 by Radim Passer. Its main project is the multifunctional BB Centrum in Prague 4 - Michle. It also built, for example, the administrative-commercial project Nová Karolina Park in Ostrava.
