In Tomáš Novotný's studio, freedom was felt,

said Patrik Hoffman, the chairman of this year's jury of the student competition, in front of a packed audience at the New Stage of the National Theatre, when he characterized the work of the winner in the “studio” category.

On Thursday, February 27, 2014, the ceremony for the awarding of this year's Lead Dušan awards took place in the center of the Czech capital, a competition organized for twenty-one years by the Association of Architecture Students.
The festive evening at the New Stage was attended by not only the nominated students and teachers but also numerous guests from the ranks of faculty members of the Faculty of Architecture at Czech Technical University, led by Dean Prof. Ladislav Lábus, as well as representatives of sponsors and the world of professional media. During the program, the nominated students and studios presented themselves both personally and in film profiles, showcasing projects created by their authors, among other things. The nominated and winning works can be seen in an exhibition at the piazza of the National Theatre, where they will remain until March 21.
