The successful Children's University implemented at the Technical University of Liberec continues this school year with the Edutech project. Newly included is the field of Architecture intended for high school students interested in contemporary architecture and with the ambition to pursue this field in further studies.
The aim of the teaching is to present to interested parties as comprehensively as possible the world of contemporary architecture with overlaps into history, urbanism, and building structures. The teaching will take place regularly at the TU in Liberec with a fortnightly frequency, and there will also be excursions to architecturally interesting buildings in the Czech Republic.
Information days and registrations for year-round courses for high school students and elementary school pupils will take place on Friday, September 5th from 3 PM to 5 PM and on Saturday, September 6th from 10 AM to 12 PM in classroom C1, building C on the campus of the Technical University of Liberec. From Sunday, September 7th, online registration for available spots will be activated.
The field of architecture builds on one-time courses of the Children's University dedicated to architecture and building structures. The EDUTECH project is financed from the Operational Program Education for Competitiveness. The guarantor of the field of Architecture is Vladimir Balda, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture in Liberec.
