The completion of the swimming pool in Petynka has a final decision, costs up to 400 million CZK

Prague - The Building Authority of Prague 6 issued a final decision on the completion and roofing of the swimming pool in the Petynka swimming area in Střešovice. The mayor of the district, Jakub Stárek (ODS), informed reporters today. According to him, construction could start in about three years, and the anticipated financial costs are approximately 300 to 400 million crowns. Prague 6 has been planning to build a roofed swimming pool in the area for several years.

In the Petynka sports and recreation area, operated by the city service company SNEO, a roofed swimming pool, a 25-meter swimming pool, or a water world is expected to be created. According to Stárek, the city hall could present a fully prepared project with a building permit within a year, and construction could begin in about three years. The visualization is being prepared by SNEO.

The city hall now anticipates that the financial costs will reach approximately 300 to 400 million crowns. The project should be funded by a grant from the National Sports Agency, grants from the Prague City Hall, and from the budget of the district of Prague 6.

The zoning decision for the completion of the Petynka area was previously issued by the Building Department of Prague 6. At that time, the company Geosan appealed against it, and now the finality was awaited.
