Brno - Brno continues to prepare the property settlement of land in the Černovice sand pit, where a vast park is to be created. Consolidating the city's land into one is an important condition for the area's development. This was stated to journalists after today's council meeting by the city councilor for property Jiří Oliva (SOCDEM). Future property arrangements are based on a cooperation agreement from 2022 entered into with other landowners in the area, namely CTP Invest and Lukáš Málka. They are intended to lead to the unification of properties for all participants.
The city's plan is to build a park in the sand pit area, which it is gradually rehabilitating, while also preserving the extraordinary natural diversity associated with bird nesting sites and the presence of rare plants. "For the plan to become a reality, we need to address property matters. Specifically, it is about consolidating the city's land into one, which will further develop in a natural direction," said Oliva.
According to him, the location is property-wise complicated. "Multiple exchanges that will lead to the resolution of property legal relationships are the only option to unblock the area so that it has realistic use for the city and its residents in the future," he added. The owners will first sign agreements for future contracts. Later, after fulfilling the conditions set in the future contracts, they will proceed to sign exchange contracts and purchase agreements.
The exchanges will affect land in the city districts of Černovice, Tuřany, Komín, Líšeň, and Slatina. The sale concerns Černovice. Consequently, areas associated with environmental use will come into the city's ownership. Other lands are, according to the proposed new zoning plan, usable as buildable areas for commercial purposes or green spaces, or possibly areas for transportation.
The city sand pit in Černovice has had a second managing director since this year, Robert Quitta. According to the city, the reason for establishing this position was to accelerate and streamline the rehabilitation of extraction areas and resolve property legal relationships.
