Call for experienced architects to apply for two open positions of Head of ARCHIP Architecture and Urban Design Studio

- Architectural Design Studio (1 of 5 studios, long-term contract)
- Architectural Design Visiting Studio 2017/2018 (short-term contract)

ARCHIP is searching for experienced architects to teach studio-based architecture design to students from around the world in Bachelor and Master Programmes “Architecture and Urbanism” starting in winter semester 2017.

Applicants will be considered based on the following qualifications:
- University master degree in architecture and/or urbanism, urban studies
- Independence in judgment, advanced organizational and communication skills
- Min. 5 years proven professional practice
-Previous teaching experience at a university or advanced academic qualification in humanities and urban studies are an advantage
- Sound knowledge of English as the language of instruction, Czech language not required

Applicants must be prepared to formulate a high-profile vision for their studio and work closely with other design studios on the development of the institute’s curriculum, activities and events.

Application deadline: 28/04/2017

Application procedure:
Applicants must send a PDF application (A4, not exceeding 20MB) consisting of letter of intent on collaboration with ARCHIP containing a brief formulation of their vision for the design studio, CV, 3 relevant design works or professional activities, copies of academic and professional degrees. Only digital submissions will be reviewed.
Application materials must be submitted to ARCHIP at: info@archip.eu by 28/04/2017.

In the first round, the applications will be reviewed by the academic committee. Applicants shortlisted for the second round will be invited for interviews. The 2nd round interviews will take place on 10-11/ 05/2017. The final result of the call will be announced by 31/05/2017.
