Zdeněk Sendler: Architecture Through the Eyes of a Landscape Architect
which will take place on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 4:30 PM in Pavilion A at the FLORA Exhibition Ground in Olomouc. Architect Sendler will discuss his personal experiences with the world of architecture in the contexts of space, landscape, gardens, humanity, and nature.
The event is presented by Sluňákov as part of the Olomouc Days of Architecture and Construction fair, organized by OMNIS Olomouc, a.s. The event will take place from November 4 to 6, 2010. Within it, there will also be an exhibition and a conference STAVOTECH - modern house, focused on energy savings, and TIMBER CONSTRUCTION about wooden building.
Dipl. Ing. Zdeněk Sendler (born 1956 under the sign of Sagittarius, Monkey), an authorized architect, is one of the most significant Czech landscape architects. He works in Brno at the Studio of Garden and Landscape Architecture. His work has been awarded numerous prestigious awards. The monastery garden in Litomyšl, whose functionality is appreciated by visitors to the city, has received several significant awards and has been published in prestigious architectural publications, most recently in a selection of the best European realizations for the period 2000–2005 (European Landscape Architecture – Edition Topos, Callwey Verlag Munchen).
