Social center in Madrid by dosmasunoarquitectos

In the neighborhood of Móstoles on the outskirts of Madrid, a social services center was opened at the end of April by the local studio dosmasunoarquitectos. The three-story building, located on the southwestern edge of the Spanish capital, is characterized by its fresh green walls covered with a perforated white plastic shell. Several notches have been created in the compact mass, allowing for better communication with the surrounding area. The building is accessed via a wide green ramp, leading visitors into the atrium and then to the community hall and several smaller offices. On the upper two floors, office cells are arranged around an airy atrium. The uniform facade does not allow much insight into the functional use despite the several notches, so behind the sterile semi-transparent shell, a modern factory could be hiding, for example.
