Bethel (New York State, USA) - On February 5, one of the most famous realizations of contemporary architecture - Villa NM - designed by architects from the Dutch firm UN Studio, was reduced to ashes. The villa was selected by Wallpaper* magazine as one of the five most interesting homes built in 2007.
Local newspapers and the famous The New York Times reported immediately after the event about the destruction of the villa, which belongs to Leo Tsimmer, where a special article about the new building was published last October. The owner of the villa was not present at the time of the fire; it was reported by a passerby. Fire units from Kenoza Lake, Jeffersonville, Lake Huntington, and White Lake fought the fire for three hours. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
