Japanese architect Tadao Ando has completed a generously designed residential house on the coast of Sri Lanka. The building, composed of three elongated wings, is situated on top of a wooded southern rocky cliff. In the center of the house is an atrium with the main staircase. Two three-story wings contain bedrooms and studios, while the third two-story wing houses living spaces with a dining area. All wings are made of velvety exposed concrete and have their facade walls facing the sandy beach, offering a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean.
