Opening of the Archaeological Museum in Manching

Today, the archaeological museum in Manching near Ingolstadt will be ceremonially opened, designed by the Munich office Fischer Architekten. The museum, with a predominantly glazed ground floor, is located on a peninsula near the spot where a Roman military ship was found. The calm color combination and restrained choice of materials (cement floor, sanded concrete walls, clay plaster) allow the exhibits to stand out.
