Vienna is preparing to build a wooden high-rise building, which will be the first of its kind in the world. The building will have 24 floors and will rise to 84 meters. The investment by the Kerbler Group amounts to 65 million euros. "HoHo" will be located in one of the largest urban development projects in Europe, in the newly created district of Seestadt Aspern. The high-rise will offer apartments, a hotel, offices, and shops, as well as a restaurant and sauna under one roof. It will be situated by a lake, not far from the metro station.

The facade of the building is intended to resemble tree bark. The interiors of the apartments and offices will also have wooden surfaces. The hybrid building, built to passive energy standards, will stand on a plot of land of nearly 4,000 m².
