On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the 6th edition of the international competition Holcim Awards 2020-2021 was announced at the Venetian Arsenal, where the Czech-Vietnamese studio ODDO architects managed to win two awards with the project Green Lungs of Hanoi: Propagated Sanctuary. This urban-landscape-architectural project for the restoration of a forest on a river island in the center of the Vietnamese metropolis received the Acknowledgement prize in the Asia-Pacific region, but above all, it achieved unexpected success in the Global category, where it won a bronze medal. The competition takes place every two years, and this year's festive announcement was part of the 17th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The global Holcim Awards recognition is an important message and support for ODDO architects that their work in Hanoi is meaningful.
