In GJF, an exhibition titled ARCHITEKTI DAM 1989–2009 is being prepared

An exhibition of the Czech architectural office DaM, which celebrated twenty years since its founding in spring 2009. The leading figures of the studio, Richard Doležal and Petr Malinský, will present, along with their associates and team, realizations and projects in two separate parts. These will be differentiated not only spatially but also in terms of content and form.
In the first part, the arriving audience will be confronted with photographs of realizations from the perspective of photographers whose signature offers well-known color views published in magazines and publications, as well as fresh black-and-white shots. The black-and-white captures are of recent dates, showing the transformation of buildings, their life, functioning, and communication with residents, tenants, and passersby...

In the second exhibition space, models of unrealized projects, or those still only in preparation or execution, will be illuminated from below and placed diagonally on pedestals - after a recap of the built, interesting ideas waiting for their evaluation will follow.

The exhibition and recap of two decades of successful activity will be captured in a carefully prepared monograph. The visual concept will correspond with the exhibition layout, including a presentation of the studio's history. The quality assurance should be provided by the names of renowned authors: art theorist Richard Drury and graphic designer Robert V. Novák.
