The committee was pleased to note that 12 proposals were submitted. After a detailed study and discussion of the individual proposals, it unanimously advanced three proposals to the final selection, namely: - J. Fragner Gallery: 20 out of 20 - L. Křemencová and a1architects: Small House - e-Mrak and Golden Ratio: Natural Architecture
After further discussion, the committee decided based on a vote of 5 to 1 to select the project for realization:
e-Mrak and Golden Ratio: Natural Architecture
The committee highly appreciated - that it is an inspiring and interactive concept, presented in a playful and natural way highlighting a significant figure in contemporary Czech architecture - that the exhibition design sensitively takes into account the architecture of the pavilion itself and interestingly enhances it with the planned mirrored walls - that it offers an appealing architectural solution that connects the exterior and interior - that it provides an encounter with truly real architecture.
For further work leading to the realization of the exhibition, the committee recommends the author team - to consider a truly realistically suitable number of exhibits - to prepare a smaller publication for free distribution in addition to the existing representative book, which will also present the Czech pavilion as such.
In addition to this, the committee informs the author team that for the realization - the project will be finalized in cooperation with the appointed curator of the National Gallery in Prague - no higher financial contribution from the National Gallery than the announced 1,600,000 CZK can be expected.
