On Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 6:30 PM, a guided tour of the current exhibition"Industrial Topography: Architecture of Conversions in the Czech Republic 2005–2015". The joint tour of the exhibition with Benjamin Fragner and his colleagues, who are co-authors of the exhibition and the extensive publication of the same name, is free of charge and does not require a reservation.
The team of the Research Center for Industrial Heritage at CTU, led by Benjamin Fragner, selected the most successful examples from projects completed between 2005 and 2015. Conceptually, the exhibition entitled Architecture of Conversions is divided into five thematic blocks according to new functions. Visitors to the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery can compare the transformations of selected examples – from the initial state, through recent history to new life. Such examples include, for instance, the recently completed transformation of the boiler room of Breitfeld, Daněk & Co. into the administrative building Karlin Hall I in Prague 8, the former Municipal Brewery in Opava, which was integrated into the new social and commercial center Breda & Weinstein, or the significantly illustrated transformation of part of the Vítkovice complex.
